This is why we are proud to be part of the "1% for the Planet" initiative and to donate 1% of our annual revenue generated by our Plans memberships to non-profit organizations that work to preserve and protect our environment.

We want to protect the planet that we love! We want our earth to remain as beautiful for future generations as we experience it today.
As outdoor enthusiasts, we know that we currently face a huge number of environmental challenges- from climate change to microplastics pollution. Therefore, it is critical for us to work to preserve the natural world.

As part of the 1% for the Planet initiative, we are donating 1% of our annual subsctiption sales revenue to non-profit organizations that are committed to environmental protection. This means that every subscription takes us a step closer to our goal and by taking up a Plan membership, you too are playing your part to protect this beautiful earth!
HOW DID 1% FOR THE PLANET COME ABOUT AND WHAT EXACTLY DOES IT SUPPORT?
It is through the shared love of nature that the concept of the 1% for the Planet initiative was born. The support of over 1,800 companies provides funding to various areas of action. These include combating climate change, safeguarding animal welfare, maintaining sustainable and healthy food systems, preventing future pollution and restoring and maintaining water quality.
The non-profit organization was founded in 2002 by two entrepreneurs from The United States and the concept behind it is simple: because companies benefit from the earth's resources, they should help to protect them. Members donate 1% of their sales revenue to environmental protection. Today the organization has more than 2,000 members from over 45 countries committed to the future of our planet. So far, $250 million has been invested in charitable projects.
HOW MYAREA IS SUPPORTING THE 1% FOR THE PLANET INITIATIVE
As the largest outdoor platform, Myarea is actively committed to promoting nature conservation. This is why we are annually donating 1% of our revenue generated by our Plans memberships to the recently founded, non-profit organization, "Digitize the Planet".
